Mass Effect 3 is the first game I have ever pre-ordered - though not the first thing I have preordered (this goes to Star Trek XI aka nu!Trek) - and there’s a very shallow reason for this: the inclusion of the possible same-sex romance for male Shepard. I wish the enemies in multiplayer would just stand there like in ME2. I'd die less.

Aww, it sucks to hear that Kaidan's gay romance is kind of flat (at least at first), I created a gay Shepard just for him. Maybe I'll hook him up with Steve instead. I like Steve, he's sweet (for a while I thought he
died during the London battle and was like 'NOOOOO, did I do something wrong?!')

The Garrus romance was near perfect, imo. My only regret is that he and my Shepard will not be able to adopt those Krogan babies they were talking about because of...well, the fucking ending

God, that ending. I hate it so much, not just because it was terrible and lazy, but for what it's doing to the fandom. The games are great, not perfect, but great, and now everyone from long term fans to potential fans are walking away from the property because the writers gave us a shit ending. Way to kill the golden goose, Bioware.

Haha, I know what you mean. We have to play together one day (I'm Kirke0). I had an awesome female solider who kicked ass, threw granades and snipped the shit out of everyone but then I decided to play some other character and now I'm lousy stupid Drell who dies after being hit by a Geth trooper. I stupidly promoted my girl so she's gone forevery. Fight well, Kirke, HOLD THE LINE! ;_ ( ... )

I'm oddityangel. I have a drell adept who is slowly improving but still comes down with a case of death every other wave, a Quarian infiltrator who couldn't hit the broad side of a barn and a Turian solider who won't be deployed until I can think of a name for him. My original adept is gone.

Aw, I wasn't sure if Robert could actually die or not. Glad he and my Shep were pals, I couldn't handle more death (Mordin! You made me sad AND happy!)

I like to think that Kaidan and Shepard are flexible when it comes to who 'tops' (though generally it's Kaidan, because...!)

I prefer to blame EA, but Bioware needs to start doing some damage control. They'll never win over 4chan (though I'm having a hard time telling what 4chan does like besides Chrono Trigger...) but they can at least soothe and mollify their fans.

Drells are stupid. And why can't we play Elcors or Geth? I want to be a Geth! *pouts*

Mordin mande me cry. And Legion. My two favorites, gone, in one game but I hear it could be worse. If you are not careful you can lose Kasumi, Grunt, Tali...
