Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan (Larry Charles, 2006) - Honestly? Meh. I've seen clips of Borat segments on YouTube that I found better than anything in the film. I think I simply find the character too grating to stand for the length of a feature. Letters from Iwo Jima (Clint Eastwood, 2006) - I don't know how this compares to Flags of Our Fathers because I didn't see that film, but I found this one to be an excellent picture that elicited a strong emotional reaction from me -- something which, for whatever reason, war films tend not to do to me.
