I am sending one of my professors to your ship to document information regarding the new arrivals to this universe. I realize that Intelligence has sent someone; however, we at Medical wish to have someone documenting for our own records, which will no doubt be of a different nature than Intel. Roger Korby is a pre-eminent person in the field of medical archeology and we feel the uniqueness of the situation on board created the need for this sort of attention.

Dr Roger Korby has been instructed not to be intrusive and to obtain only what information what the persons onboard feel free in sharing with him. However, he does need full access to your medical records.

He has been instructed to leave for your ship as soon as possible. Contact me with any questions.

Kirk stared at the message, and whispered several curses in several languages. "Come on! We've already got a slew of people here working on this... fuck!" He didn't need anyone else. All the way from an Admiral... lovely. He felt like writing back something nasty, but decided to say nothing back for now.

It was that last part that bothered him. A lot.

Like hell he's getting full access to my medical records. Bones' eyes only.

Kirk pulled up a screen on his console, and started typing.

Bones, see the attached message. Full medical records, that's your area. Gonna see what information I can find out about this guy.

Bones had read the message, and knew exactly what was on Jim's mind.

No one sees your records, Captain. They're locked down tight, your clearance and mine. Besides, I think I can limit him to the new folks, no need for the others. That's my stand, anyway.

I heard of him, he's a suit, doesn't practice much medicine but write a lot of books. I think Tina worked with him once.
