In the interest of communication, Ephram found himself again making his way to the Captain's office. He wanted to inform Kirk of his progress, and actually to thank him for the atmosphere of acceptance on the ship.

He pressed the door buzzer and hoped for the best from this second encounter.

"Enter," Kirk called out, frowning unhappily as he read the scrolling report on his padd. How have we gone through so many supplies... He thought to himself. All these extra people are putting pressure on the supplies badly, we're going to need to deal with it. Means we need to hit up a port...
