It was the longest stretch of time he had spent in once place minus his years at the Academy - always moving, always traveling, wanting

It took him two trains and a long walk to make it over to Jim's quarters. Sybok suspected foul play immediately when he saw the door open--but relaxed when he saw Jim lounging with a padd on the other side of the quarters, outside.

"Afternoon, Jim," He said, emerging onto the deck. "Busy?"

Sybok had a single guess that it was his brother, seeing as no one else on this planet would care, but he didn't voice it. Standing from his chair, "I'll leave you to it, then. You have my contact number...thanks again, Jim."

[kirktastic]

Smirk. "You realize that it'll be Captain in the future, right?" Couldn't help the light tease. "I'll let you know soon as possible."

Jim saw the smirk playing on Sybok's lips before he turned and left. He didn't even bother waiting, reaching out and grabbing his PADD.

Your brother wants to work on board the Enterprise. How do you feel about that?

Surprise filtered through the bond, and he had to put another item back on shelf while he could respond directly through his communicator.

Where do you intend to place him?

Jim's eyes closed as he felt the emotion come through the bond, still not used to it. He breathed out, still not entirely content with talking through the bond yet.

Don't know. His skills are weird varied. Figure if he wants to be on board that badly, we'll start out small and see where he fits in. No promises for him though.
