After Sea World, Jim was still feeling the rush, but when Spock wanted to go to Lego Land, Jim just grinned and told Bones and Spock to enjoy themselves. It wasn't that he didn't want to spend time with them, but in reality, he wanted to explore the city. He wanted to see how this city thrived, loved, breathed, like all the other cities he had

Bones had enjoyed a very long, hot bath while Jim was out. Spock crashed out on the bed, and was still asleep when Bones got out of the jacuzzi tub. Wrapping himself in a white fluffy robe that he found in the bathroom, Bones headed out to the bedroom and flopped down next to Spock.

He turned the television set on, the sound very low but Bones wasn't listening anyway. His eyes were glued to the images on the screen, the country he grew up in so different, just a few hundred years ago. Images of life and people that were familiar, but not the life or people that he knew.

The door to the hotel room opened, and Bones heard Jim enter the room. He gave Jim a little wave to let him know where he was, then pointed to the sleeping man next to him.

Immediately Jim put down the bags, crossed the room, and touched their lips together. He smiled tiredly. "Did Junior have a long day?" He teased the sleeping man. "How about you, long day? Have fun?"

"He's been out like a light for a while now," Bones murmured low, nuzzling against Jim's skin as he felt Spock turn toward them, curling around him. "I took a bath, and feel a hundred times better." Pulling at Jim to sit next to him, Bones grinned. "You should've come with us. There were all sorts of Legos everywhere."

He pointed to a bag across the room. "I got some for Joanna. Not as fancy as what she's used to, but interesting in their own way." There were other bags over there as well, but that was for later.

"Glad I got to go out, actually. Brought you back a surprise." Jim went back into his bags and pulled out a bottle, walking over and slid it into Bones' hand. "Hope it's worth it." Jim laughed quietly, tugging at his clothing so he could climb into bed with them.
