Synopsis: Aoi and Shou have split personality disorder. What happens when parts of themselves hate and love one of the other, when the main individuals themselves are not aware of their other identities?

Bright laughter and animated voices came into Aoi’s scope of hearing as he rounded into the corridor leading to Shou’s room. “No Pon you’re doing it wrong!” “What? I think it sounds alright like this!” A strum of a guitar chord came, followed by more giggles. “Doesn’t it sound good? This will be a fun song!”Aoi stopped in his tracks and cocked his head to the direction of the door where the sounds were echoing from.

There was something vaguely off about the voices.

However he shrugged it off and continued walking. Knocking the door a couple of times, he turned the knob. “Ah Aoi must be here! I want you to meet him Pon!” A low chuckle followed and the door clicked open.

“You must be Shiroyama-kun! Shou has been going on about you since forever. Nice to meet you, I’m Hiroto.”

Aoi froze in his tracks again. He looked around the room. There was no one else except him at the door and Shou sitting on the bed with the guitar in his lap and, music sheets scattered all over the quilt and a notebook at his side.

“Aoi you’re here!” Shou grinned up at him. “Why aren’t you saying anything? Pon has just introduced himself to you! It’s no good to be rude you know~” teased Shou, the familiar tinkling laughter following in its wake.

“I think he’s quite shocked to meet us Shou. He must have been too overwhelmed by my playing just now. I told you it’s awesome.” Came a slightly lower, more matured voice from the person on the bed, whose eyes were now narrower. He cradled the guitar in his hands, his left fingers were pressed firmly on the frets and his other hand strummed the strings slowly. Music from the instrument reverberated loudly and clearly throughout the room.

Hiroto was now sitting before Aoi.

“H-how… Hiroto?” Aoi stuttered, unable to believe what was before his eyes.

“Yup that’s me!”

“But that’s not possible. You. Shou. Here…”

Hiroto turned away and placed the guitar on the bed next to the sheets. “Shou can you go out for a moment? I need to talk to Shiroyama-kun for awhile.” Aoi stared as what he thought was a trick of the light happened again. Narrow eyes widened on the oval face and Shou’s voice answered “Alright Pon! Keep it short though! Or I’ll get bored waiting outside!” Shou closed his notebook, stood up, smiled at Aoi and left the room, closing the door softly behind him.

Aoi’s throat ran dry. Before he could process what just happened, the door clicked open again. The smaller eyes which emitted a sharp glint told Aoi that Hiroto had entered the room.

Hiroto strode over to the middle of the room and sat on the carpet. Settling down and folding his legs in comfortably, he tilted his head back and met Aoi’s eyes.

“Don’t tell Shou.”
