Synopsis: Aoi and Shou have dissociative identity disorder. What happens when parts of themselves hate and love one of the other, when the main individuals themselves are not aware of their other identities?

Hiroto retreated onto the bed and petted the spot next to him. His eyes were gleaming and he couldn't stop grinning but he couldn't help it. Uruha was here. The source of his worries and joy was sitting next to him. Right there and then, Hiroto felt as though he could take on the world.

There were so many things to ask, so many things to talk about. Too many things to share, yet too little time they had. Both of them gazed at each other and silence hung in the air, neither of them willing to break it.

It was time for Ruki to act.

Pulling back his fist, he struck it across Hiroto's face, only to have it meet the wall and pain jolt up his knuckles. That bastard dodged! Sneering, Ruki glared at Hiroto who managed to swerve to the other side of the bed. His eyes were wide with shock and startled recognition at the same time.

"Nice way to greet someone for the first time I see."

Ruki snorted. Like hell he was going to be polite to this guy. "Nice to meet you too asshole."

Hiroto though, rose up both his hands in defense. "Now now there's no need for such profanities... Ruki. Did I get your name right? I just remembered."

He was mocking him!? Snarling, Ruki aimed another shot at his face, but Hiroto's hand was faster. Coarse fingers grabbed his midway and eyes which shone with surprise seconds before narrowed and glinted a shade darker. "I'd suggest you don't try that one more time Ruki. Don't make me hurt you. Don't make me hurt Uruha."

A chuckle left Ruki's lips. He wrung his fist away from Hiroto's grasp and threw his head back as he laughed. Tears leaked from the corners of his eyes. "You? Hurt me? I'd like to see you try. Until you can even lay a punch on me..." Ruki turned and met Hiroto's eyes straight on. "Quit bullshitting around."

That didn't faze Hiroto. Instead his eyes hardened. "In case you failed to noticed, I stopped your attempts twice. If I had really wanted to hit you, you wouldn't even be sitting here talking to me right now." As Ruki begun to curl up his fingers again, Hiroto continued. "Don't push me Ruki. It's alright for me to get hurt, but if I do, Shou would too."

"As if I give a fuck about-"

"And when Shou's hurt, Shiroyama-kun would be too."

Ruki froze.

"Consider your actions carefully Ruki. It's about time you think about the consequences they bring. It's not just the three of you all now. There are two more of us in this mess." Hiroto paused in his tracks as he pulled open the door. "If you really care about Shiroyama-kun, you should be glad I didn't lay a finger on you."

The door clicked shut, leaving Ruki alone in the all too brightly furnished room. He gritted his teeth as he glared at his surroundings from the rows of books to the guitar and music sheets. He cursed. Aoi could not have fallen for Shou. He should not. And Ruki should know. He knew it when that girl had broken Aoi's trust. He knew what was going to happen in the changing room. He knew it all.

What did Hiroto know about Aoi? Nothing.

Ruki knew best.
