Synopsis: Aoi and Shou have dissociative identity disorder. What happens when parts of themselves hate and love one of the other, when the main individuals themselves are not aware of their other identities?
Doctor Kazamasa tapped on Aoi’s shoulder softly and took a seat next to his bed. When Aoi was about to gesture it to him, he realised that he couldn't, for his movements were restrained by cuffs to the bed frame.
Before he could speak his mind though, the doctor spoke up first.
"I think you've recovered your memories Shiroyama-kun." he said gravely.
Aoi froze. Vivid images seared beneath his lids as he inhaled a deep breath and nodded.
"Yes, I remember them now."
"I'm glad that you are taking it calmly. Many people do not react the way you do. This is a positive step to the road of complete recovery." The doctor gave Aoi an assuring smile.
That was what Aoi’s ears heard and what his eyes registered, but his thoughts were elsewhere.
A split second instant of himself on the bloody changing room ground flashed before his eyes. Aoi’s throat suddenly went parch dry. "I think that is because I've not been alone all this while... Doctor Kazamasa."
The doctor's smile faltered. "Why of course, you've always had your mother at your side-"
"No." Aoi interrupted, his temples begun to pulse again. "I think I'm not alone."
“You’re just like Shou, Shiroyama-kun”
Doctor Kazamasa opened his mouth to speak but Aoi continued.
"I think what I'm trying to say is I'm no different from Shou."
The pen slipped out of the doctor’s hands and clinkered onto the ground.
"I'm not sure myself. But I saw a monster when it happened. I was a monster. Something inside of me is not human. I don't understand..." Aoi shook his head in frustration. "Doctor Kazamasa," he pleaded, "Help me."
A/N: A quick update before I head out!!! Oh and I'm gonna try doing up an archive again! GO ME!!! I'm the type who looks at something and figure it out before doing it so I just randomly browsed a couple of archives and I think I get the gist of it. It's gonna be a long road though. *points to huge dump of fics* D:
