Oh how he fell. He fell hard.
Sunlight peeked into the bedroom in the form of glowing elongated stripes shaped by window blinds. The morning rays crept up their sheets, causing the one already awake to shield his eyes and draw the comforter even further up to the drummer’s cheek. In tucking him in, the bassist’s finger coincidentally landed on a peculiar spot - an area which was usually dented in during the day.
Love came in the form of a dimple.
With that light prod alone, the skin beneath the finger creased and Kai’s brilliant smile outshone the natural glow in the room.
As with every single morning, Reita obeyed the rules of gravity and fell.
“Good morning, love.”
