Kai's pov

The moment my eyes landed on the two figures who entered my squarish white space, the red on my arm begun to throb. As they came closer to my bed, scarlet specks begun to form on the face of the guy with blonde hair. Red spots which multiplied collectively, mosaicing his facial features beyond recognition. My heart begun to pound, it bounced repetitively off and against my ribs, making my skull hurt as well. I blinked once, twice, thrice, but I still couldn't get the red dots out of my vision. It wasn’t like I minded them there, red was comforting amidst this lack of colour, lack of rationale, but nonetheless it was affecting my sight.

As I pieced together the non-red spaces, I found myself on the floor, sitting on the chest of the blonde man. His mouth opening and closing, gaping non-stop like a goldfish out of water. He could have been screaming but all I hear now is a strange hollow. What was next to my ear wasn't technically noise, but the sound you get when you place a seashell next to the shell of your ear. It's not the sound of waves. It's actually the echo of the beating of your heart.

Soon I realised that the red spots have stopped spawning, and that the red I now see before me were from my hands. I'm shrouded in red all the way from my fingertips to above my bandage where my biceps are. The warmth and sheer thickness of the colour calmed my hectic pulse down and the weird noise toned down as well.

I frowned as the crimson liquid begun to dry up and clump my fingers together. As much as the colour is pretty to look at, I think I'd like it better if it stayed off me huh? Exerting pressure on my knees, I begun to stood up, but was halted midway as my knee was partially stuck to the ground. The fluid form of red had soaked through my disgusting white pants and tried to glue my legs to the floor. I crinkled my nose in distaste and moved my legs away, turning myself 45 degrees to the right, still sitting atop the man's chest. Him whose mouth I saw had stopped moving. His chest had stopped heaving too.

The both of us were now surrounded in an irregular circumference of shiny ruby. Shiny because the ultra white lights were reflecting off the surface of the crimson pool of which the both of us were in the middle of. If we were in the red sea, the guy beneath me would be a ship, and I would be a pirate. Get the pun? Red sea?

All was still except for a small ripple on the large puddle next to the blonde's neck. Drip, drip, drip. A bundle of little hoses were drooping out of a vast hole on his neck, supplying the red juice to the floor that I'm now fond of admiring but not touching. All was still too, except for the shaking figure at the far corner of this room.

Ah, it's the other person who came in with this man just now. My right eye twitched. My syrup coated hands started to tremble a little as well. Brown as his hair may be, but being fully clothed in white save for a partially concealed green t-shirt beneath his jacket from neck down to a pair of slightly grey shoes?

Now, that can't be right.
