Well, the hole in Cally's foot, per the vet, really is just an abcess hole. Her theory is that since the giant hole from earlier in the fall that was healing up got mud and muck and rocks up in it again and reabcessed a bit. She debated x-raying, but told me the horse would be far lamer if any deep hoof structures were involved, but if she didn't
