Your Azula POV in the first one was perfect.
But a question--is the last line open to interpretation? Because I'm not sure if it's Katara (my first guess) or Ursa (came into my mind two seconds later).

Hate Ozai with a burning passion, but adored "Soot". Maybe because of the Ursa bits, and I heart Ursa. ♥
