HELP!

Ok so as I hinted in my last post, I have a truly whacky crazy insane inspired idea for a story. But I am experiencing life-threatening severe trouble with a very important character.

Le crisis )

utterly random, the idea

Well, let's see... Tulips (the tall dutch variety) meet the criteria... So does Clemantis... of course that's a vine but it could be grown indoors. Iris' and daylilies both meet that as well. Some wild flowers like daisies can reach that height and anything can be grown in a pot.

All of these are sun loving btw.

Hope that helps!

The Problem with those is, that they wither eventually. The plant needs to be present in some way all through out the year... I should have written that before, huh?

Ahhh ok. Then you want something like an azalea. It never loses its leaves, even in winter, and blooms in the spring. A small trimmed bush can be 2feet tall easy and can also be grown in a pot on a sunny balcony. It is a common plant and found in most gardens!

Hm... do you think that it would be ok to name an azalea (<-- Azula - azalea... similiarities or wishful thinking XD) "Flora"?

I used to do that with a rose bush, they are pretty resiliant (however you spell that word).

I am trying to avoid roses as they are the "usual suspects". Since the plant will be pretty important in the book, I feel a rose would be too cliché.

Ahh,
Another one that is pretty good is Chrysanthemums, they grow year round and they thrive in most any climate.
If you didn't say in the sun I would also say forget me nots (loves those), but they prefer shade.

I'll look into that one, too. Lover already suggested Azalea. Picking that plant is soo... frustrating!
