For some reason, I thought you lived in Norman, OK.
I have two thimble-fulls of honour and joy that you made a post. Maybe you will get back into LJ.
I have yet to answer these questions!
Sorry you were disappointed by Med School and men. I have experienced something like that. Because of my illness, I did get my student loans forgiven. Maybe you can get the same, for low income.
i did live in Norman until 1998, minus one month in California and ten in Panama for zoology field jobs. then, i moved to South Carolina to be with my last ex. from there we went to Austin where we ended. i then went to Oklahoma City for medical school and Tulsa for my failed residency. having nowhere else to go, i moved to Lawrenceville, GA, with my uncle who then kicked me out, and i got dumped here in Waycross from whence there is no escape. 😑😱
i know they are talking about forgiving some people up to $10,000. i think they are adding about that much interest every year to mine. it's supposed to be forgiven after 25 years on an income driven repayment plan. assuming i even live that long, i am skeptical they will honor that. i've heard they've made it where you have to claim whatever is forgiven as income and pay taxes on it. that means i would still owe way more than i can pay, just to a more aggressive entity. they can't get money from a corpse. the debt is only on me, so when i die they will have to suck it up.
Just wanted to tell you that madman101 has violent fits of rage, and is aggressive and dangerous. I think he has bipolar disease. He is mentally ill. Good thing you didn’t friend this psychopath.
i had friended him for a brief time, but he started being passive aggressive abusive. i don't have patience for that nonsense anymore, so i unfriended him.

the post is still up. it's a very derogatory way to talk about trans people
i reported it to lj, but they said it is staying up there because of "free speech" regardless of how offensive it is -_-
