Hi Kirsti! Glad to hear that everyone is getting over the flu.

I'm commenting under this post cause of your comment about LM Montgomery. I litterally tore my house apart the other day looking for my copies of the Anne books. Still can't find them. I'm going to have to break down and re-buy them. Aren't they wonderful?? I too cried like a baby when Matthew died. I so loved him. Isn't it great that you can read books that you loved as a kid and still love them as an adult? Maybe we just hold them in a special place in our hearts or maybe that is the sign of a great author.

And Revenge of the Sith was awesome! Your boys are lucky to have a cool mom who takes them to see it more than once. I drag my husband to about two movies per year. Last year it was Spiderman 2 and POA. This year I'm guessing it will be Revenge of the Sith and GOF. He isn't a movie person but he does go to the obligatory Harry Potter with me.

Have a great weekend! :)

Thanks, Kimmy. My husband likes movies, but does NOT like anything with sci-fi/fantasy. I always tell him he needs to lighten up, LOL!

I'm glad you like LMM too. I'm going to have to re-buy "The Story Girl," since I can't find it anywhere. And all of our HP are on the verge of dissolving, they've been read so much! In fact, GOF is beyond help. Because my kids love them too, I'm going to buy TWO copies of each HP--one for them and one for me!

Are you writing any more fanfics? If so, I'd love to read them *smiles dorkily*

My husband doesn't do sci-fi/fantasy either. He went to Episode III because I was so excited to see it and I made a huge deal about it being the last Star Wars that I would ever get to see in the theatre. He can't stand Lord of the Rings and I love it. He did watch one of the battle scenes the other day when I had it on and he seemed kind of interested. Alas, fifteen minutes later he got up and asked me why I liked this crap. Man makes me crazy sometimes ( ... )

Oooh, good job, Kimmy! I just read your Remus/Harry and you kept them very in-character. How can you say "it's not that great"? You write well.

I'm so happy that you like "Helping Neville" *blushes too* I like his mix of insecurity and determination--witness his attack on the ferret after Malfoy makes that crack about St. Mungo's.

As far as writing more stories is concerned, I really want to when things settle down a bit. Right now we're busy getting ready to go on vacation and finishing up the school year, so my brain is has checked out, LOL! I'm hoping to get writing again this summer (depending on family stuff); if not, definitely when school starts again, since I'm not going to be working at all next year.

Also, funny about your hubbie--mine is exactly the same way. He always asks me how I can like something that "can't really happen." Argh. Not enough imagination, I say!
