Long overdue update

Oh man, this whole posting more often thing totally hasn't happened, has it? Oh dear. So I will attempt a long rambly post to get some stuff out there. It's definitely a Choose Your Own Adventure on this one, too many topics to delve into.

I wasn't aware that you were into guilty gear. I briefly contemplated cosplaying zappa for otakon this year actually, but then decided that I a) liked my back and b) am too lazy to make a costume so I'll probably just wear normal clothes if I go at all. your costumes look great though.

So cool that you are doing a DIY wedding. Two of my friends got married in Sweden a couple years ago, and pretty much all the young people who were there helped out with it. We helped fold programs and tie them with ribbons, picked about a zillion lilies of the valley from the forest and arranged them in vases. Then specific people helped with photographs and music and calling a contra dance and random other things. It was so fun! I felt very loved and important to be asked to contribute. We all camped out together for a few days, by the lake where they had the wedding - it was totally beautiful.

Abby Adams' wedding was like that, too. I can't remember if you were there? She had it at her friend's plantation and pretty much everything was done by friends. I didn't participate in that one, though, except as a guest. I just think weddings can be so much more special when you and your friends create them. Yay! and yay for waltzing! : )
