In middle England we're getting the same pattern, but a few days behind. Last week I was shopping in shirtsleeves; today we've had to put the central heating on for the first time this year.

(Note to rest of world - recent research findings showed that some 70% of all conversations in the UK concern the weather.)

I disagree with you. In Canada, come January, 94.5 percent of all conversation revolves around the weather. That number dips or rises slightly in February. :)

You're a dominion - you got your weather discussing habits from us way back when! :P

I agree with you. Last week I was in shorts and perspiring heavily. This week it went down to single digits (Celsius) in the morning.

We're in the one digit numbers at the moment too. Good thing my mittens look awesome! (They are fingerless gloves with a mitten flap - ever so practical!)

I used to have a pair just like that. Best of both worlds. :)

I just keep forgetting that I have to move all my fingers at the same time so the right had is getting a little stretched out.

Mittens make me feel like a kid again!
