Stuff, what I have been up to

I've been rather busy since uni got back. I'm actually really proud of my self - I've been spending several hours a day, four or five days a week in the library, as well as reading at home, and I've not missed a single class! This is a first! I love the fact that university is 'free' in Scotland but I sometimes think it makes us take it for granted

And so it should be! I don't agree with the government policy of sending everybody and his dog to university whether it's suitable for them or not, but I do believe that education should be free and available to anyone who has the ability and the motivation to benefit from it.

It sounds as though things are going really well for you these days, and that's good to know.

The subject for your dissertation sounds interesting - obviously you will check that there are adequate sources. It's way outside my area of expertise so I don't have anything constructive to offer, but if you should find yourself in need of a proof reader I'd be happy to oblige.

It sounds like a really interesting subject for your dissertation. I don't know anything abut the subject - so I can't come with any good advise.
