Found out what day my BBC début will be... for anyone with access to the Beeb (and the inclination to listen...) my choir will be on 'Sunday half hour' on Jan 3rd 2010, I think at about 8.30, and I am assuming the second program will be the following Sunday. I'm planning on doing another... but if I don't I'll sew some ribbon on it and claim its a Christmas stocking for the dog...

It's actually turning out to be quite easy - I did all that in about 4 nights last week in front of the TV. Me and my flatmate are such grannies. She was running around making bread in her apron and what looked suspiciously like a twinset, and I'm on the sofa with my tea and my sock. All we need now is a few cats and some sherry!

You remind of two quite young women I overheard in a local store. One was bemoaning the fact that the store no longer had a product she'd got used to buying - then she turned to her friend and said, "Oh God, I sound just like my mother!"

Is that on BBC television or the radio? I'm going to try my best to see if I can find it to watch it online. :)

It'll be on Radio 2. I don't know if the bbc on demand service works overseas (the bbc I-player) and I somewhat doubt we'll be on the world service!

My dad's going to record it off the radio though, so I'm sure I'll find a way to get it on youtube or something...
