So I recently started watching NANA (I know, I'm years behind the times). Holy crap this show is amazing >.> A lot of shoujo series get extremely annoying and predictable because everything seems to revolve around people trying to break up the couple, an under-confident girl, and a super "perfect" guy, thankfully NANA isn't like that

Spellthief and Druid, what is the third PC?

dunno, our third PC wasn't with us this weekend when we were planning the campaign and creating our characters. But we're in for a rough ride if we don't have a fighter. I'll be ok, since at level 2 I have a 19 AC, 20 dex and weapon finess, bluff of 7 (which let's me get additional sneak attacks in battle), and an attack bonus of +7, and 14 max HP (the best possible for my level and con), but I worry for the druid.

I'd worry more for a wizard/sorcerer in low levels than the druid. :-P

Nana certainly isn't predictable. The characters always struck me as very real. That all are so flawed that they draw you in.

How far have you gotten?

30 episodes, Hachi just got with Nobu but just found out that she's pregnant. If I recall, this was close to where you stopped watching/reading at one point because you were so mad for the choice Hachi had to make.

I'm really enjoying it so far. But I think I see what you mean about them always foreshadowing some horrible thing. I can't tell what happened, but often on the introduction to the episodes, Nana or Hachi will be talking to the other reminiscing on how things were before they somehow hurt each other.
