Despite sitting about and gazing thoughtfully at the monitor for quite a while this morning, I've unfortunately not been able to come up with a single memory that's both meaningful and happy. So I'm going to go with the curious avant garde

Travelogues are always good. If you describe your area of the globe, talking about the people, places and things in that area, that makes for an interesting read. Write it any way you want. What's important to me is learning about the places you've been to. Like, "The restaurant at the corner of Suchnsuch is an old brick building where the old people go to get coffee and sandwiches at six in the morning, etc...." Okay, so that's not a good example, but you get the idea. I don't get out much.
