There's one big advantage of having long bus trips to go through every day, when I'm not busy beating the tar out of the terrible AI on the poker game on my cellphone I get a chance to stare out the window and think about various things ( Read more... )

Why the sudden bitterness towards Christians? Not that I don't sympathize with feeling it (looks very wry ( ... )

I'm not really bitter towards the Christians, I'm bitter with the religion itself, the people are trying their best to find a way to live their lives in an ethical, moral manner ( ... )

And this is why Judaism is different. Absolutely opposed to that. Has been since about 5th century BCE. Freedom of thought and respect for individual judgement is a sacred truth in Judaism.

But you don't seem to want to know about the details right now...so that's cool.

It is frustrating though. Seeing all that Christian goodwill so often misdirected, often into evil deeds. You are right about the high stakes gamble they've taken...and which many, many times has failed to pay off with disastrous losses.

Honestly I'm happy to hear that you're doing well and that things are headed for greener pastures. I'm not sure where I am myself, or where I'm headed, but seeing the sun shining through the leaves above me is enough for now to tell me that a path must exist.

The forest has become pleasant to walk in, and if I wander enough, I now feel I truly will stumble across a path to my destination, the wait, is more comfortable.

Glad to hear it. You didn't seem too happy from your last many posts so it's good that progress has happened.

I do firmly believe the most profound lessons often require the most pain, alas. May the worst be past for you as well.

No, I'm not bitter. shastzi March 30 2007, 01:49:51 UTC
It's all horse hocky designed to abscond power and wealth for the organized churches.
Why do you think we had a dark age?
I have no use for Christianity, Islam and Judaism. They are all just a veiled excuse to hate and slaughter one's fellow man who thinks and lives differently, in God's name.

Been there, tried that. The scriptural lies sicken me.

Any one of the bigots would kill me where I stand and congratulate themselves afterwards for doing the good Lord's work!
Why? Because it says in the "good book" that I am an abomination in the eyes of God.
Who needs a devil? We got man's own inhumanity to man here.

I have God within me and God does not write scriptures only charlatans do that.

You can always come hide with me when the weird Christian army of death comes looking for the both of us.
