mousapelli. I hope you like it even if I didn’t get the rating up to NC-17. I blame Tamamori. Also, thank you to both of my betas. Your comments and corrections were very helpful.
"I can't believe you," Tamamori says, displeasure written all over his face. "Get out of my apartment."
Miyata winces a bit. "It makes sense."
Tamamori's eyes just narrow further. "You’re finally moving out of your parents' house, but no, not to move in with me. To move in with Nika. This makes sense HOW?"
"You and I shouldn't live together because that would draw unnecessary attention to us."
The look on Tamamori's face tells him exactly how impressed he is with this reason.
"Nika wasn't going to be able to live by himself," he tries instead and this is something that no one can argue with, not even Nikaido himself. Truth be, Nikaido had approached him, clearly having had thought it over. Miyata had been trying to find a good way to bring it up with Tamamori, but with his own butai rehearsals and preparations, their schedules hadn't been matching up.
Since it wasn't something he wanted to discuss over the phone, he'd waited until the next time they were alone. But just as he was about to bring it up, Tamamori pushed up against him… and right as his brain went from debating how to tell Tamamori his news and TAMA~♡, he ended up blurting it out.
"Your timing is stupid," Tamamori snaps at him, hands still on Miyata's half-undone belt.
Miyata ducks his head in apology and runs his hands up and down Tamamori's arms hoping to soothe the anger out of him. "You know Nika… He doesn't even last one night in a hotel room by himself," Miyata points out. "And you saw how out of it he was when rehearsing for Gineiden, plus doing filming for his drama, plus doing the prep for our March releases… The place we’re looking at is in a really good location. I believe you moved out for similar reasons."
"Don't go thinking all this logical reasoning is going to get you off the hook," Tamamori warns, getting back to their task at hand, then adds as he drops Miyata's belt to the ground, "Now get over here and make it up to me."
Miyata lets Tamamori pull him further into the apartment towards the bed. He sits and enjoys watching as Tamamori pulls his jacket off and then lifts his shirt over his head. Miyata reaches out to trace fingers over a fresh bruise on Tamamori's hip before pulling him close enough to replace his fingers with his lips.
Tamamori's head flops back with a contented sigh. "It's not as bad as it looks. Tripped over that idiot you're trying to move in with."
Miyata chuckles, enjoying the way he can feel Tamamori shiver with every kiss. "On the bright side, he's learned to apologize," he says with a chuckle, but starts to undo Tamamori's belt before Tamamori can slap at him. "Moving in with Nika won’t be too terrible if you ask me."
"I wasn't asking," Tamamori murmurs before looking at Miyata sharply. "And we can stop talking about Nika now. I really don't need him on my mind while you make things up to me."
Miyata smiles, pulling Tamamori's jeans down. He places a light kiss on Tamamori's growing hardness. Heat surges through him when Tamamori lets out a low moan, hips pushing forward for more. Always willing to comply, Miyata pulls his underwear out of the way and takes the tip into his mouth.
Guided by the noises that fall from Tamamori's mouth and the way he's worked a hand into Miyata's hair, encouraging him, it's not long before Miyata can tell he’s getting close. Using his hand to replace his mouth at a slightly slower pace, he looks up at Tamamori and asks, "If you come now, do you think you'd be up for more after?"
Tamamori takes a moment to process that, even as his hips continue to pump himself into Miyata's grip. "Only if you do all the work.”
"Okay then," Miyata says, his own jeans tight. He gets back to work and it's not long before he's swallowing Tamamori's release.
With a sound of happy contentment, Tamamori crawls into Miyata's lap, clearly serious about not helping Miyata with starting part two. Miyata rolls Tamamori onto the bed so that he can stand and get rid of his own clothes while Tamamori is too satiated to whine too much. Tamamori still lets out something that sounds like a "Hey~", but they both know it's just for show when Tamamori wiggles himself high enough up the bed to face plant into a pillow.
Miyata runs his hand up and down Tamamori's exposed back, a small smile playing across his lips at the way the muscles relax under his touch. He loves looking at Tamamori. The strong muscles in his back, the length of his legs… everything is just so perfect. Not for the first time, Miyata wonders how it’s possible that Tamamori is his.
"You're doing it again," Tamamori says, voice muffled a bit from the pillow, understanding Miyata enough to know exactly what Miyata's thinking.
Instead of continuing down, Miyata runs his hand back up so that he can brush fingers across Tamamori's cheek. "How did I ever get so lucky?"
"Maybe you built up good karma for this life."
"Must have. Too bad I didn’t have enough to get a better nose."
"Too bad you still sweat a gross amount." Tamamori rolls onto his side so that he can give Miyata a slow once over that leaves Miyata's skin tingling. "I like your face," he says finally and pulls Miyata down for a kiss to show him just how much.
Miyata loves the way Tamamori almost immediately deepens the kiss, rolling onto his back so that Miyata is on top of him now, pressing him down into the mattress. Miyata, still hard, moans when Tamamori starts to roll his hips up, ready for round two.
Later that night, Tamamori curled up comfortably at his side, Miyata thinks about what it'd be like if he and Tamamori really did live together. He thinks about coming home to Tamamori's smile and Tamamori coming home to him. He thinks about the prospect of waking up with him every morning and how Tamamori would be the first and last thing he sees every day. It makes him think about how he would really like that someday.
But then he remembers all the things that his mother still does for him and how he really has no idea what it's like to live on his own. If he and Tamamori were to live together, he’d need to grow up a bit first. If he were to really move in with Tamamori now, Miyata knows that there are a million things that he still can’t do. He’d always been nervous about moving out on his own, so when Nikaido had approached him with the idea of getting an apartment together, it’d sounded like the perfect opportunity.
Still though…
"Hey," Miyata says, softly enough so as not to wake Tamamori just in case he really is sleeping. "Are you really upset at me for not moving in with you?"
There's a long stretch of silence that follows and Miyata figures that he really is sleeping, but then Tamamori murmurs, "Maybe."
Miyata chews at his lip. “I was worried you’d say that.”
Tamamori turns his face into Miyata’s shoulder a little more. “I guess I just thought you’d want to live with me whenever you were ready to leave home.”
"I'd be useless to you if I moved in with you now."
Tamamori opens his eyes to look at him. "You wouldn't be useless."
Miyata grins. "Maybe not… but I wouldn't be very useful either. I can't even cook."
When Tamamori doesn't say anything, he continues. "I don't plan on living with Nika forever. He'll eventually want to live with Senga and I really do want a place with you someday… I just want to see what it's like living on my own for a bit."
"You're not living on your own," Tamamori says flatly. "You're moving in with one of the idiot twins. Of your own free will too."
Miyata presses a kiss to Tamamori’s forehead. “It’ll be a good experience.”
A few weeks later, as he’s packing his room, Miyata wonders if maybe he shouldn’t just live at home forever. Moving is more of a pain in the ass than he’d anticipated. He'd never really thought about just how many things he owns until he started trying to fit it all into cardboard boxes. His favorite manga go in first, along with the anime box sets that he knows he'll continue to watch over and over. Next go some of his figurines.
There are a lot of things that he can't take with him and he'll just have to take his mother's word that his sister won't dump anything in his absence. His sister stops in for a bit anyway, saying that she's scouting the territory. With him moving out, it means that she'll have more space to fill with her nail art supplies right?
"You already take up half of the room!" he points out as he shoos her away.
He makes a sad face when he realizes that his turtles are really going to have to stay, but doesn't say anything because he can only imagine the state Nikaido will be in when he realizes that all of his pets aren't gonna be able to live with them. Instead he just takes a picture of the turtles and sends it to Tamamori. The reply Tamamori eventually sends him says that Miyata had better suck it up because he's the one who chose to move out.
True enough, Miyata supposes as he carries the last box out to the his parents’ car. He’d only asked the moving company to take care of his furniture. It's not that he doesn't trust them to be careful… he just doesn't trust ANYONE to handle his delicate anime goods. Or his anime-filled hard drives.
When he gets to his new apartment, the boxes in the living room are a mixture of his stuff and Nikaido's, but through the open doorway, he can see that while he's currently not present, Nikaido's already started to unpack.
Miyata puts the box he’s been holding down before heading to his own room.
Upon opening the door, he sees that his bed and shelves have already been moved in. Going back to the the living room, he searches for the box with the bedding. He's a bit sad that he left his anime sheets at home, but Tamamori's been giving him looks over them for years now so he's also looking forward to seeing his reaction to the new soft, yellow sheets. He lets his mind drift for a bit, thinking about just how good Tamamori will look sprawled out in his new room.
Not that Tamamori comes over any time soon.
It turns out that unpacking is a lot more slow-going than the packing had been, which quite honestly, Miyata hadn’t thought was possible. With their tour starting, and then his butai run starting, he's having a hard time finding time to just be at home and unpack. He finally manages to empty out the last box during the few days he has before his butai shows in Fukuoka.
The day he gets back, he goes straight to KisuHama filming which makes him smile because it means he’ll be with Tamamori all day. And even though they can’t actually do anything while filming, getting off from work at the same time makes it a lot easier to just slide up to Tamamori where he’s packing his bag and invite him over to his new apartment.
They grab dinner first, Miyata knowing that he has absolutely zero food in the kitchen. He practically shovels the food into his mouth, excited to show Tamamori his apartment. His keys jingle in his hand slightly as they walk up the street after dinner.
Tamamori laughs. “It’s like how you get when you buy a new toy.”
“If an apartment can be called that,” he says happily.
“How’s living with Nika so far?” Tamamori asks as they ride the elevator up to his floor.
“Not bad at all,” Miyata insists. “Some quirks here and there." Like how Nikaido woke him up their first night, insisting that there were strange noises coming out from the neighboring wall. Miyata had eventually been allowed back to bed, but still found Nikaido curled up next to him in the morning. "But then there’s all of my quirks too so we’re pretty even.”
He unlocks the door and holds it open for Tamamori to walk through first and is surprised when Tamamori just stops there. “Hey. Move in a bit would you? I can’t close the door.”
Tamamori moves to the side, but it’s so that Miyata can see why he’d stopped in the first place. The sight has Miyata shutting the front door as quickly as possible. Beyond Tamamori, on the living room couch are Nikaido and Senga... or to be more specific, Nikaido fucking Senga over the arm of the couch. Both naked boys pause for a second at their new audience, but before either of them can do or say anything, Tamamori gives Miyata a look.
“THIS is what you chose to move in with instead of coming to live with me,” he says, kicking off his shoes to enter the apartment properly. “I can’t believe you!”
Miyata trips over his shoes trying to rush after Tamamori. "Don't be mad~ It'll just be like when we're on tour."
Tamamori has already found his room by the time he's caught up, although the anime poster on his door was probably a dead give away. Miyata grins when he catches Tamamori staring at his bed. "You like them?" he asks, indicating his bedsheets.
“I...” Tamamori turns to look at him. “Did you choose these on purpose?”
Miyata guides him to the bed, pushing him down on his back. He nuzzles that spot behind Tamamori’s ear. “I knew you’d look amazing against them,” he murmurs softly. “You like the apartment?”
“Besides the fact that the first thing I saw was Nika and Senga naked?” Tamamori says, turning his head slightly to take in his surroundings. “Yeah. I guess it’s okay.”
Miyata knows his face must look entirely too pleased with this when Tamamori rolls his eyes. He expects Tamamori to continue with a complaint about how Miyata is gross or something, so he’s taken by surprise when Tamamori instead says in a soft voice, “I’d like anywhere you are.”
"Yuta." The feelings that swell up in him feels amazing. He vows to himself that when the two of them finally get a place of their own, he'll be able to do everything necessary to keep Tamamori happy. But in the mean time…
"Hey," Miyata says, rolling his hips down and nipping at Tamamori's neck. "Wanna see if we can be louder than Nika and Senga?"
