so last weekend was ax...it was a ton of fun! it was overwhelmingly huge! i spent a lot of time in line. a loooot of time. but it was worth it. i ended up making it to, like 3 panels *sigh*. the vendor's room was amazing. i ended up getting a few books (*cough* nana *shifty eyes*). it was almost hard to find stuff i wanted in there. i usually get

As for waiting in line...that's the type of thing Xpyne and I, just the two of us, could do some place like Yaoi Con, but trying to force a group of 5 (not including myself) to sit in one place that long? Would NEVER happen, lol. We mostly wandered and shopped, and I spent way too much money on doujinshi, yay me. :P
And you look so pretty in the last picture! I dunno, the red & black thing...some people dye their hair like that purposely. Of course, I'm also guilty of falling for the black-temporary-dye-which-wasn't-so-temporary. That was a few years ago around October, and by that year's family Christmas photo, it was STILL THERE.
The Bellatrix dress is beautiful, did you make it yourself?
Ah ha, and as far as next year... After this year, I swore I'd never do the cosplay thing with so many people. But then, I said the same thing last year, so...we'll see. XD

thanks! that last pic was right after we took our family's christmas picture too, so i was all gussied up. ^~ i dyed my hair black for a halloween costume and it came out just fine. it took a little longer than 6-8 weeks, but it all washed out. before i went to las vegas i was in a hurry and just grabbed a different brand. im positive it was the washout kind..it just didn't. suck.
thanks!! i made the bellatrix dress myself indeed! i think it might be the best thing i've sewn so far. i made all the other costumes except for yuna. my mom did most of that, i just glued stuff to it ;-)
hehe, yeah. its nice to walk around in normal clothes and be comfortable, but i kept seeing all these cool costumes and was kinda "aw..." i dunno. i think i've hit a happy median with the limit-cosplay-to-a-few-hours thing.
i forgot to say i was in awe of xpyne's goku wig. it turned out amazing!
