I’m back with a proper comment!!

I really adored the whole setting. I love Miyata as a mangaka and a not super famous one at that. And I enjoy Yokoo as an illustrator and professional voice of reason. XDDD

I knew there was an explanation for all of those ridiculous costume choices in manga!
And then Tamamori Yuta is given the ability to see ghosts Miyata decides as there needs to be some form of catalyst to the plot and Yokoo rips up any pages he sees featuring magical transformations. I Really want to read this manga. Some of my favorite stories involve main characters seeing ghosts!

Poor Miyacchi, entirely too believable as a pervert otaku. <3

fantasies of them as two best friends with secrets and bonds and ghosts with missing limbs and organs. heeeeee! This sounds suspiciously like some of my favorite manga. Anything by CLAMP, anyone? I would love to see TamaMiya join the ranks of the couples cemented by exchanging body parts. :3

Sorry for the late reply - I'm relieved you liked your fic, you gave so many good au suggestions to work with I wanted to do it justice.

I love a lot of manga too where the main character can see ghosts or spirits and I wish I could have actually written more of the manga au plot aspect but au within au was where I started to get confused XD but it's a fic idea for the future I'd love to come back too.

Yokoo had to draw children's books because I couldn't have him drawing baseball au again XD plus, I imagine he'd create surreal fantastical children's stories with crazy coloured pencil illustrations. Thanks for the comment.

this is so sweet, awwwwwww. It's sad in that really good way, how Miyata is drawing all of that for him really like a love letter he can't send directly, I love it. I'm glad they get a happy ending.
