I can understand why Ryou seemed to hesitate telling me about it. I mean, is it possible to be detached one moment, and then completely in-tune in the next? I think our mother has that kind of effect on people. Heart failure isn't exactly what I had in mind; in fact, seeing her at the hospital altogether, practically lifeless, is certainly not what I had in mind. And if that isn't enough to worry about...
