We held the globe and made it turn, wandered through the universe. - Lifesize, A Fine Frenzy
Congratulations to the newlyweds! I wish you both utmost happiness. :)
Sae-san, I hope you've been getting a lot of rest and that the care package is helping.
Normally I wouldn't admit this, but I am tired. Everyone is. And some people welcome it, while others don't. Father is a lot like me. But when he's phoned to specifically ask me to attend one of his board meetings with him, when I am certain he has misgivings about my interest in his work, how can I possibly say no? It isn't like I'm forcing myself to, and certainly not that I have no interest at all in working around hospitals. I mean, just because I want to be in a slightly different field doesn't mean I'm not concerned. Which is ultimately why I think I should... step up. I'd be lying if I said that part of my concern doesn't stem from our recent hospital visit, but the mere fact that Father needs me - that's enough.
While we're on the topic of going home, I suppose I should add that my butler has decided to return to his. And though saddened by his abrupt decision, I understand. Family is important, there's no arguing with that. His older brother should be thrilled with the surprise visit, if their letters are any indication. I guess, all in all, this chapter ends well.
ooc: Care package consists of lavender-scented candles, relaxing music, recipes for dishes that are easy to digest and not incredibly heavy (in case Sae isn't eating), and Space Invaders.
