My favorite part of the library is that space next to the seventh shelf from the left, on the second floor in the west wing. There is a lovely view of the gardens from the window next to my table and even when the heavy curtains are drawn, sunlight manages to burst through. It does indeed sound like a wonderful corner, libraries really are incredibly easy to lose time in. I hope your butler has proved able to find you when needed?
