I just wanted to leave a quick post today to wish you all a happy New Year. The dogs and I are doing well, hunkered down in Bozeman for the winter, and still going on long daily walks. Lewis was not happy about having to wait in the car, but it just took a minute walking in the snow in those temperatures for his paws to freeze up. He's not quite as tough as Emma ...

Lewis felt bad about being left out of the walk, but his paws just couldn't take the cold snow. Emma could have been out there for hours, though.
I didn't really want to go out there myself, but in the end I was glad that Emma forced the issue. It was so gorgeous.
