Kishidan concert report !

I just published my pictures and impressions about the Budokan gig on my French blog here: http://satellite-poema.net/2009/05/12/
As not everyone can understand french, I give you an english version under the cut:

After 3 weeks in Japan, we have lots of photos and memories, but let me share with you first my biggest fangirl moment.

On the 26th april, we went to see Kishidan in concert! Thanks to x-wacca-x we had tickets for the second day. The first day, the rain was pouring so hard we didn't stay around as planned. But luckily, the second day was very sunny, we saw lots of cosplayers and we queued for the goodies confortably.

We didn't take many photos, that's a pity. There were boys and girls dressed as yankees, wearing regents, cute girls in sexy Binetsu Danji cosplays, children wearing small gakuran with Kishidan written in kana instead of complicated kanji, and all sorts of costumes (some of them I didn't even recognise what it was supposed to be...)

The cutest were the families, with the grandmothers or the children... A cute one was dad Ranma with mom Hikaru and boy Show-yan:

(sorry for the crappy quality, that was my phone cam...)

My favorite cosplayers were them:

They were successful, everyone wanted a photo with them! Am I supposed to be Ranma on this photo, then? XD

There were lots of people around the venue, but it was well organised, there was no hustle and everyone went inside quietly. I stayed outside a long while, enjoying the sun, the people walking around, and the music coming from inside... *o*

And this is my last picture, because photos were forbidden afterwards. It's the view we had from our seats:

It was sooooooo great! The scene was small, there were only the 6 members of the band. No dancers, no actors, just Kishidan. The first surprise was Ranma & Matsu's new styles. Let's say it's strange at first (especially for Matsu, I find Ranma very nice looking this way). ^^; There wore different outfits, a black gakuran first, then a litlle white vest with, what was it, cat tails? ^^; Hikaru's was white and Show's was brown. XD Then the usual colour-coded gakurans in the end.

They played many great songs, with two new ones that I liked a lot (an original one, very catchy, and a cover... of a French song... we were quite taken aback!) Dancing Doyoubi with 15.000 people is a wonferful experience. Everyone knows the choreographies, it's fantactic, we had a lot of fun. And we did the whole of the 127, even if it's tiring for the arms! I was so happy I think I had a stupid smile on my face during the whole show. I was lucky enough to be seated at the end of the row, which gave me lots of free space to wave my arms around. XD

There's been some funny sketches, but not a lot, it was mostly music. Show spoke a bit and told a couple jokes (I think he apologised for the last 3 years ^^;), Yukki made the audience sing for a while, Hikaru tried to interact with us too but we gave the wrong answers so he sulked (so cute!), there was a short video before the new song, and Show introduced the members (during the bridge of Boy's Bravo if I'm not mistaken), he didn't recognise Matsu because he changed so much! So he said "... Dare?" and the audience echoed "Dare??! XD" It was very funny. Poor Matsu. XD

We didn't get a lot from Tommy, Ranma and Matsu, that's sad. For the encore, instead of chanting "Encore", we sang "Happy Birthday Show-yan". I think he was pleased. ^__^ We didn't get Zoku, Delicate Kiss, nor Yukaina Nakamatachi, but I was not expecting a 4 hour concert anyway. ^o^

I think it was the best part of our stay in Japan. I hope I can get the DVD when it's out! Kishidan Ai Ra Byu! ^______^
