Hokay, so here I am world.
This sucks what am I going to do for the next X weeks. I know Hannah is gone for 3 weeks, I have no idea how long Macoy will be gone, Lydia should be back soon...I think, Gavin is gone for 3 weeks, and I think Mitchell is leaving soon...or eventually for a bit(I have no idea, correct me??). Those are basically my only friends, well the ones I see outside of school at least. I guess I should do summer homework, evil school. I liked the scenario of the Grapes of Wrath bursting into flames; but since that scenario doesn't change the fact that I still have to do it, it does put a damper on things.
I did start the Grapes of Wrath though. I'm taking it about 3-4 chapters at a time. Slow, but hey I don't want to spend 7 hours a day either. I read one day, then I bookmark what I read the next and so far it's working well. I'm not extremely far into it but at my rate it should take me about 2 weeks give or take a few days. (That's only if I work on it every day). As for history homework, I'm doing that the week before school or something like that, extremely not worried about history.
I will be starting Blunt (Training starts on Wednesday for me!), and I'm really excited. I also am scheduled to work on 4 shows. It sounds so much fun. I know it's not for everyone, but I think it will help me be more social and just a nice activity. The people there are nice and if I say I don't want to something (like I didn't want to do hosting or reporting) they're completely okay with it, they won't even question it. I really like that, I hate being forced to do things.
I was thinking of doing Driver's Ed later August. I looked at a schedule for the Greater Portland Driving Academy and they had one that was August 15 - September 1, so I would be done before schools starts. The classes would also be from 3-5:30, so it wouldn't mess up my Blunt schedule either. I still have time to think about it, I'm not in a huge rush to drive(once I get my permit it's not like I'll have a car anyway). I might just wait until next summer and hopefully find someone to take it with. (Lydia perhaps?) I'll decide soon though, within the next week or two.
I found my Diablo 2 discs and my saved file from the old, now dead computer. So ScArYmAn lives again, my little 77 necromancer. It's so addicting, and such a fun game. I'm in Act 3 Hell, which probably only means something to about 2 of you. I started an amazon as well and she's level 18 in Act 2. It's been ruling my life for the past few days and FFX-2, I'm going for %100 in one try, since I've finished that game about...6-7 times and need a new challenge.
Oh right, the new Harry Potter book. I haven't read the other 5, but the night before it came out I went on the internet to find out just 'who' the Half Blood Prince was before it came out in America, which in turn led me to about every other important spoiler in the book. Somehow that made me satisfied. I do want to read the other 5, but I have to find them first. Eventually I'll read them, maybe a couple this summer, maybe not. We'll see.
I'd be happy to see any of you this summer who I don't normally get to see, especially seeing as I'll have some down time since basically everyone I hang out with is going/already on vacation around the same time.
