Jeez, you can you believe it?! The Tory in my riding won over the Liberal incumbent by 70 votes. 70 votes! That's as many as seven tens! Unbe-freaking-lievable. I kind of want to go punch all of my friends who said "nah, I don't need to vote" in the face. With a mule.

I hear that. Although I don't have any friends here (literally - my high school friends have all moved), so I don't have to go through the trouble of mail-ordering a mule.

Many of the people in school that I know did not vote because - they have MIDTERMS and didn't have time! Personally for me that's not an excuse (I walked 30 min to get there!) but... in my experience many students vote left-ish... ulterior motive for Harper calling it around Thanksgiving weekend?
