I think most people like to laugh at their own jokes. We strike ourselves as so unbearably witty.

Oh Aidan, you think I just sit here waiting for you to say stuff to me don'tcha. :O I think that if I keep on insulting you, you will be prompted to stick up yourself, and develop more self-esteem (re: big puffy ego) to hide emotional scars of course. hmmmmmm.

I'd sure like to talk about this more though.
