that "conversation" with a woman that took place is the biggest pile of shit i have ever heard in my life. i cannot fathom a woman that would respond in that way. you either love music, enjoy music, or are indifferent towards music. if you love music, you will want to do this. if you just enjoy it or are indifferent then you wouldn't and would prefer music to be a background thing-male or female. i fucking hate people. and hate the fact that in every situation, no matter how irrelevant, gender roles get thrown in. grrrrrrrr people fucking suck

i have no words for this columnist. i already do this already. theres a girl in philly whom i have "seasonal" dates with. we meet up every 3 or so months, and i bring over a bag of records, she whips out some choice selections, strategically arranged on her coffee table, and we just play song after song, brewsky after brewsky. music nerd convention of america. and next thing you know it its 4am and we're singing songs from jesus christ superstar. great idea for a date or party.
