Two years

Today is our second anniversary. Two years ago today, on a Sunday, Paul and I sat in the Jubilee Gardens at Canary Wharf in the spring sunshine and realised we were made for each other. I was a mess, he was a rock, and it all worked out perfectly

We still celebrate our anniversary of getting together (the official date anyway!) as well as our wedding anniversary (four years today, woo!). I think it helps that the official date is Ellie's birthday, but we still do a little bit of something to celebrate the anniversary too. It also helps that the two anniversaries are six months apart, so it's a bloody good excuse to wine and dine expensively twice as often. Not that we need an excuse...

I think it's nice to think back fondly of the times before getting married, as well as thinking fondly of the marriage itself.

PS I don't know what your daytime/early evening diary is like, but we're both in London next week.

Yeah that sounds like a lovely way of doing it. Ours are also six months apart so we'll probably be well up for another event to celebrate!

Oh yes I remember you saying about next week - I'm off work so my diary is pretty flexible for both days and evenings. Let me know how your plans go.
