nothing has changed
Aiba/Jun | 嵐 RPS | PG-13 | ~750 words
Yes, I am still alive! Here, have a tiny Aiba/Jun commentfic that I wrote for

"What now?" Aiba asks, while Jun is still fumbling around for a clean washcloth in the washroom. He sounds kind of helpless, which figures, since he's the one sitting in the middle of Jun's bed with jizz on his torso. The only thing that's keeping Jun from actually letting himself process that idea that he just had sex with his bandmate is the routine motions of cleaning up, taking out his contacts, absentmindedly folding Aiba's boxers after nearly tripping over them, as Aiba had hurriedly discarded them clean onto the middle of the bathroom floor before Jun had dragged him into the shower.
The question is pretty ridiculous, though. Jun hates it when people want someone else to make all the decisions for them. He's normally pretty good at taking charge of a situation, but there is absolutely nothing he can do with a naked, suddenly nervous Aiba (that they haven't already done, and Jun promised himself that he would not freak out about this, but he kind of is).
"I don't know," Jun says finally, pitching his voice so Aiba can hear him in the bedroom. He wets the small, soft white washcloth he found in the bathroom sink, wringing it out so he won't drip on the carpet. He takes a deep breath, walking back into his bedroom as calmly and casually as anyone wearing no pants possibly could. "Go to sleep, maybe?"
"I was asleep," Aiba reminds him. He moves the sheets aside to let Jun swipe at his torso with the wet cloth. "You woke me up."
"I didn't expect you to just collapse on top of me," Jun snaps. Aiba slides back under the sheets, stretching out languidly. Aiba's smile is weak, almost nervous and Jun feels his own falter. At least one of them has to keep pretending that they know what's going on though, so he quickly cleans tosses the cloth into his laundry hamper and switches off the light, slipping under the covers next to Aiba.
It had been raining all evening and into the night, all through their on-location shoot and even after they'd finished drinking with the staff. From what Jun could see out of the gaps in his window blinds, the sky is still a dark, murky grayish-purple, the windowpane stained with raindrops. It's hard to tell how late - or how early, really - it is from the sky alone, but it's well past 3:00AM now. Jun has to be up in about four hours; he's gone on less sleep before, much less, but he'd had a good string of solid eight-hour sleep nights, and he'd gotten a bit used to it.
"It was nice, wasn't it?" Aiba's voice breaks the silence just as Jun is beginning to drift off; his hushed words bring Jun back from the edge of sleep with a jolt. "Jun?"
Jun licks his lips. He feels Aiba shift onto his side next to him - watching him? - he keeps his eyes closed. "Hmm?"
"Nothing." Apparently Jun's doing a convincing impression of someone sleeping, because Aiba rolls over again, nearer to the edge of the bed.
Jun lays still on his back, listening to Aiba's breathing deepen and even out, loud in the dark stillness of the room.
He barely stops himself from jumping out of his skin a minute later, when there's a soft brush of lips across the back of his neck. Aiba sighs, his breath stirring the fine hairs at the base of Jun's neck and Jun waits for his heart to stop racing.
It's almost embarrassing to think about it, but he can't help it. It's like sucking in cold air to test a sore tooth - Aiba braced above him, a fine sheen of sweat on his skin, those blurred moments when Jun could only feel want, desperate and heated, holding Aiba's face in his hands and kissing him until they were both breathless.
Jun is sure he can trust Aiba to be serious about this, to be professional. Neither of them have the stomach for that sort of drama, and neither of them will forget what is most important to them both - they're professionals and they're both in love with their job. Jun can smile in the morning, can laugh at Aiba's inane jokes and have coffee ready before Aiba has to leave for his morning filming.
But if Aiba asks again - if he pushes just that much - Jun isn't sure he'll be able to say no.
