Why do a lot of good writers get very little feedback?
Why do people that produce out-of-character fic and dreck get lots of feedback?
Why do some people feedback one author but not another when both writers produce basically the same thing?
Why is some feedback effusive and other feedback given grudgingly?
Why do some people achieve high status within a fandom for their fic while others go unnoticed?
What makes a good writer a good writer and how do you know? How do they know? Is there a yardstick for measuring this?
