slow dancing, savage love (the column), seashells, scalp massages, school supplies (double s!), screwdrivers (the drink, not the tool), secret admirers, sequins, and sex.

i feel like i'm preparing to embark on a whole new chapter of my life.
i just have no fucking idea what it is.

portugal is beautiful and i am alive.
i will write and post pictures when i get home.

sometimes i just need a nice day, and a boy with dirt smudges all over him, to remind me why life is awesome.

maybe love is about growing up
and not finding somebody to build an imaginary world with.

the real world is a lot more immediate
and mortgage payments must weigh more heavily than pirate ships and blanket forts.

and maybe its time to admit that what i always thought i was saving for someone
doesn't really have any value at all.
