well, i dont think its good to say that everybody will have been drunkby the time their 21. i dont drink. and i dont plan on ever getting 'wasted'. and i want to go to a christian college where that bad influence and pressure to drink wont be nearly half as bad as it would be at like msu or u of m.

and the issue about premarital sex...you give a part of yourself away to someone when you have sex. thats how i see it. and its a part of you that you can never get back. so why give it away to someone who you probably wont end up being with forever?

teens these days think that drinking and sex and drugs are okay because thats what society is telling them. and thats horrible. because its not okay.

yeah i get what you're saying about sex. and don't get me wrong, i don't think there is anything wrong with waiting. heck, i don't plan on having sex anytime soon

first off, i don't get where you come up with "are we going to give in and let the media control us? if you answered no, then you're a hypocrite. because thats exactly what you are doing." because thats QUITE a broad generalization to make, although i agree it is true to an extent

its not violent. its a peaceful thing. we just want to stand up for what we believe and save our generation.

and i know that nobody is perfect, including myself.
ill admit it. ive sinned. thats why Jesus came to die for us all to forgive us all for our sins. we are forgiven so that we can forgive. the Bible says you get into Heaven if you believe in Jesus and believe He is our Saviour. and if you are a good person and live your life according to God's word. its not just about doing the right or wrong thing througout your life.

i dont believe its a matter of opinion at all. i believe its whether or not you believe the truth.

and if anyone wants to look down on me or get upset that i say that, then so be it. im going to stand for my beliefs.

that last battle cry statement is ridiculous.
im able to say..hey i know where youre coming from and thats a fair opinion..on most of the stuff
but that last statement was over the top.
battle cry--theres a song i know that says
let me hear youre battle cry
cause its do or die.
and i totally understand it.
not violent. christians fight this battle every day.

I love that you come out and say what's on your mind.
I think you've made a good point.

I have this to say...

Sex: People do what they want. I know I hardly ever realize it but most of the people I (and you) know have had sex... and no matter what you tell them, they're not going to stop. Sex is an instinctual thing and it takes A LOT of self discipline to abstain... a lot of self discipline that most teens don't have.

Drugs: Stupid. But once again no one is going to stop because they're told. A lot of people see it as an out; a way to feel better.

Alcohol: I don't see drinking as a problem, even if it's underage. A drink or two is fine... however going out to get wasted is ridiculous. If there is one thing I could change about a number of people it'd be that habit. Kids think they're invincible and they're not. Alcohol can be so destructive...

The best one can do is stay strong to your morals. If YOU stay away from it all, then maybe you'll inspire others. And I feel like eventually they'll love you for it.

yea i agree about the alcohol thing. it doesnt bother me if someone tells me, "oh i had a glass of wine at my uncles wedding last weekend". thats not a big deal and they had adults around so they couldnt get out of control with the alcohol.

and yes. i know me telling people to not do something isnt really going to do much. and i dont want to force anyone to do anything. i just hope that a lot kids our age will eventually be able to have self discipline.

With the uncensored words thing.. I think that people shouldnt censor words because then you're trying to hide what's really there, and you cant hide the bad, you can only try to fix it.

But kudos for standing up for what you believe in :)

agreed. plus at one point in history those words were not "bad" the F word was actually a boys name in another country. the B word is a femal dog in britain etc..

but then again, today they are just not suitable to say in society, in a classy way that is.

yea, i think its ridiculous that just words have been turned into something bad. but since they have, i dont think they should have to be heard in everything we do.
