i worked all day yesterday to help the time go by.
i also did dishes, laundry, and vacuumed.
i made roasted veggies and ate them.
i went to band practice.
i came home.
i slept.

i'm trading star trek for some good old fashioned non-fornication for the rest of the week, haha.

andrew's more of a star WARS guy.
but i still want to do a tng party. i also have access (and will soon own) the entire ds9 series, which i never really got into, but i am told got good around season 3. sorry. after watching a minumum of 1-2 episodes of s.t. every night for three weeks i can't seem to help commenting about it to anyone who might possibly be interested.
maybe a three week tour of the nation with my non-geeky band will do me some good.

ooh when are yall going on tour? im a bad friend and groupie for not having rushed out to buy the album yet. perhaps tonight since i live next door to sonic boom.

we leave this friday!!
and get back on june 10th. also, incidentally, the date of our cd release show at the crocodile! :)

sadly it doesn't look like it will happen. andrew needs to stay home and work while i'm on tour, and he leaves a few days before i get home for another k.h. tour. we don't like to go more than one month without some face time with each other but this time it can't be helped.

eh! we are getting better at it. :)

i am so SO so excited for tour!

but make no mistake.
i miss seattle terribly whenever i go away.

p.s. would you be up for housesitting for a few days in june? andrew leaves on the 3rd or 4th, and i get back on the 10th....kittens will be needing some love in the meantime. :)
