How Many Students Does It Take...

Old jokes never die on campus. They're just recycled for the incoming freshman class. Colleges have become the theme of at least one chestnut: the lightbulb joke. Playing off student stereotypes, the jokes have popped up all over the Internet.

Berkeley: 204, one to tell how much better they can change a bulb than kids at stanford, one to say that he should change it because he's asian, two to organize a non-partisan student effort to raise awareness about ligh bulb rights, and 200 to smoke pot at the sit-in.

my post was from a new york times article about a week ago.
how ridiculous is that?
i told someone that and their response was, "are they allowed to say that?"

I made that one up. I could only find Berkeley if they were discussing UC's so it's usually the same as the Columbia one.

Here are some more.

How many students does it take to change a lightbulb at:

Brooklyn College: Three. One to take the B44 bus to the hardware store, one to steal booze from his house and bring it back, and one to go all over campus promoting the event.

SUNY Oneonta: None. They all got wasted and one of them sat on the lightbulb.

NYU: Two. One to change the lightbulb, and one to commit suicide.
