Fanxing Valentine's Day Flash Event!
We are very excited to present you Kiss Fanxing, fanxing's flash valentine's day event! The idea is to write drabbles/short fics and celebrate fanxing on valentine's day! (We're kind of late, but fanxing deserves love and it's better late than never).
Since we're running on a short span of time, this event is going to be light and easy, so here are your guidelines:
Kiss Fanxing is a fic event, so you can write whatever you want under the valentine's day theme. The ones who would like a prompt can go through our prompt archive and select one of their liking. This is a free for all kind of event, so participants can join whenever they want until the deadline reaches.
♥ TIMELINE
January 4th - Sign-ups open (stays open until February 21st)
January 5th - Prompt archive is available (stays open until February 21st)
February 2nd - Last day to drop-out
February 21st - Final Deadline (500 words)
February 23th - Posting starts
March 2nd - Reveals
♥ SIGN UPS
We need to keep track of who's participating in the event, so we'd like for all participants to sign up with a form (that will be made available for you when sign up period opens) and specify if they would rather write their own prompts or pick a prompt from our archive. Sign up opens on January 4th and there's not exactly a closing day, so you can join whenever!
If your choice is to write a prompt from the archive, your sign-up form will be kinda different. Pay attention to the right form.
♥ PROMPTING
You can add a prompt of your own to our archive whenever you'd like. We will have a prompt post so you can leave your prompts and we'll add them to the archive. We'd like to make a small surprise at the end of the event, so all prompters and writers will be anonymous at first.
♥ WORDCOUNT
Your piece should be a minimum of 500 words when finished, but participants can surely go further.
♥ WRITE AS MANY PIECES AS YOU WANT
You can write one fic or five. It's all up to you :)
If you'd like to write a prompt of your own and a prompt from the archive, you can replace the phrase on your form for "I'll write a fic of my own AND a prompt from the archive" then proceed to specify which prompt you want to write.
If you'd like to write another prompt, but have already sent in your application, send us an e-mail.
♥ REGARDING DROP-OUTS
Just so we can have the previous knowledge, we ask that in case of departure from the event, the participants report to us until February 2nd.
We felt like a free for all event would be a better choice for the timeframe we're running with. Our fanxing family seemed really excited about this, so we thought that maybe we could give them a little happiness on valentine's day.
