I need to find time to read 7 books this month so I can get back to the "read 50 books this year" pace. Nah. Any good short books to recommend to me?

I read "Jumper" and "Anansi Boys" at the beach this year. Both were relatively short and entertaining. "Jumper" is much better than the movie that was based on it, BTW.

I didn't know Jumper was a book, too. I'll have to see if the library has it.

the alchemist is a good short read! not sure if you've read it or not... (as well as le petit prince, but i'm assuming you prob have read that already)

The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down by Anne Fadiman was awesome and not very long at all.
