When I look for a friend...
I look for someone that I can have a good time with..
that will not be afraid to take a chance and have fun
I want my friend to be honest with me
unless they truly cannot tell.
I want my friend to always be by my side in a tough situation
and to give me a shoulder to cry on.
I want a friend to be able to feel comfortable around me
and visa-versa.

for your first impression...
just be yourself
and if that person doesn't want to be your friend
then keep trying...
if it doesn't work out...
then it's their loss.

only thing i can tell you is that you are kind of intimdating when people try and approach you, you tend to shy away a bit and its hard to persue it, it kinda feels like we're being blocked out and we don't wanna be too pushy, but whenwe get to know you better, we know its not thatwe are being blocked out, its just how you act. I hope that helps and wasn' ofensive, i just know that i was intimidated when first apporoachin you.

well, maybe just reassure the person a bit, like if laugh a lttle mrore even if they aren't that funny, help em out a bit, i know the position and it would really help people out. and being stand offish is NOT a bad thing, don't ever think it is, it just means that the people that really want to get to know you will keep trying, and those who don' really want to, wont, its like a friend's filter.
