the more that i read about the hurricane, cholera, and john titor, the more scared i become. i hope that im overreacting.

(though i must say that ive always thought that the 'future world' he describes sounds much nicer than ours)

i am seriously thinking of selling my car and buying a bicycle.

Cayce said something last night about how crazy the world has been this past year.
Like pre-apocalyptic.

Rob said something randomly to me about John Titor last week.
I'd never heard of him.
I went to his site and read all his interviews..
Part of me thinks it's complete crap, and part of me is intrigued and freaked out by it.

I think John Titor has already been proven to be complete bullshit. I remember reading something he said about World War 3 starting in 2004.

He actually did say that the civil war begins in 2004.
So see? He's already wrong.
Don't worry.
It's all going to be okay.

i need to go look at what, specifically, you guys are talking about, but i thought that he said that the events that LED to a civil war began that early. no?

i believe he said that things occur between 2003 and 2005 (i.e. bush's election, invasion of iraq, civil liberties being threatened) that spawn a chain of events that culminate in civil war and eventually a global nuclear war. he says that it's easy to deny until 2008, when the conflict is at everyone's doorstep.

the world gets worse every year, and, whether or not titor was full of shit, we certainly don't seem to be on the right track. but if he was for real, we'll have enough time to realize what's necessary in order for survival. i don't think you need to worry about the bombs falling in nashville; if that's destined to happen, you'll be ready to get out when the time comes. LA, however, is a different story.
