I held her so hard in my arms as we proclaimed goodbye, accidently kissed her on the lips, and told her to come home soon. She is going somewhere warm and South, and I am staying up North, frozen and cold

she may be angry and bitter for quite a while, but once she steps away from her behavior/problems... she will see you were doing the right thing.
