My birthday was fantastic. I forgot about a certain amount of hmk and even skipped out on classes yesterday (I wasn't hungover! I didn't even drink the night before... I just had a massive headache and ended up sleeping till about 1pm). Thanks everyone who came out - Melissa, Kristen, Tiffany & Kyle, Jeff, Rachael, Jeremiah & Katie... but most thanks goes to Ben. He really made my birthday spectacular - he decorated the living room with streamers, bought me a cake (that even had writing on it!!) and went all out. I have the best boyfriend in the world... I don't know what I'd do without him. God I'm such a sap... I love him so much.

Last week, Seth took me to see Mae in Worcester... or rather, I drove and he paid. It was the most amazing show I've been too in a long time, and even the hardcore rain on the drive back didn't get me down. It was sooooo great - we were super close and the lead singer threw a pic at me, and I got to shake his hand after the show. He was staring at me like 70% of the show - I swear. Ask Seth - he even thought it was odd. I mean, I could have just been in his line of view or something, but I choose to believe he was amazed at how well I knew the songs and the fact that I wasn't 16. I mean, come on.

Thursday, as mentioned before, was spent at NoHo Brewing Co., and at the Tunnel Bar, while Friday night was spent in Amherst. We had a few drinks at ABC then marched over to the Spoke... then went to Rachael's for a little Nintendo, then came back. Saturday Tiffany took me to dinner, and we attempted to go to Charlies, but then made our way to the packie instead and brought the party here. We had people over and we played pictionary and laughed our asses off. It was a good, drunken time, that left me with paint all over my chest (thanks Tiff and Ben). Sunday Jeff and I took off for NYC where we booked the insane number of blocks to our hostel (not quite as European-sophisticate as I'd imagined), and then headed downtown to see a comedy show before hitting the bar and getting WASTED. Our sleep was interrupted and massive hangovers ensued, but we still managed to walk however many miles all around Manhattan - seeing the sites, snapping pictures of Miss Liberty. It was a good time, minus the feet KILLING me, and my leg spasming out on me. We headed back up here Monday afternoon and crashed.

This brings me to yesterday, which I spent skipping my classes and working on WMUA's program guide all afternoon while I watched season one of the Gilmore Girls. I love that show. And I still have a few episodes of season one to watch before I start season two... YAY! I can't wait to get seasons three and four... I'm so lame, but I love that show!

And now that I finally woke Jeff up, we're going to head out to UMass to see the school a little bit then I'll be taking him to the airport. I'll be coming back here to study my ass off and think of a way out of this predicament I'm in- I have a 8 page paper due tomorrow that I haven't started. FUCK. And a second exam in Neuroscience. I'm sooooo fucked.

So I'll be going now...
