I think this was a little bout of what I have come to call writer's natal depression. This was a case of pre-natal depression during a workshop where I had to premiere a 10 minute monologue (I didn't think it would be so soul draining...)
Just have to wait until after June 4th and all will be well, (though this will begin with a full course of my traditional end of semester writer's post-natal depression when final stuff is all due and gone. Then I'll have to be kept away from sharp objects and Brooke Shields)
i know exactly how you feel when you say that you make all these plans and then go and blabber about them without meaning/wanting to. i do that as well.
i hope everything is ok. but venting is good. it gets rid of all that stuff that builds up, and while it doesnt always make things right, it can make you feel better. :)
(was your monologue really soul-draining? eugh. how awful. )

Yes, yes it is. Sorta like saying "the blood-splatter was a nice touch."
I guess i'm a bit confused - in some ways i can't tell whether or not this is part of a story connected to a song connected to a theme.
But if it isn't - even if an eighth of your plans work out, that's something. You know that paul kelly song. From Little things, big things...
