People who don't understand should not try to pretend they do. Not everyone gets along in this world, and sometimes that's okay. I'm not saying that everything's fine, because it's not, but I should not be the one who's being attacked just because I'm the only one who will not turn a deaf ear.

perhaps I'm assuming too much by commenting on this post, but I'll post anyway.

I've shown up twice now in an attempt to say "I'm fine with this." I would sit down and have a formal "what's wrong?" conversation, but I really don't feel that anything was wrong to begin with and there is nothing wrong now, aside from and extended silent treatment (from both parties). I've made my peace with everyone else ... so what's the deal?

Call, write, email, carrier pigeon me if you want, but I'd like to figure out why you don't like me anymore and see if it's possible to change your opinion. I'm willing to listen if you're willing to talk and visa-versa.

Carrie. I DO understand, and you've explained to me how you felt many times. SO basically, you're not understanding what I was trying to say, so don't try to pretend that you do as well. and no one is attacking you, I am just saying that if you can't get over it and deal with it- then at least talk about it. You actually are the only one is IS turning a deaf ear. By not letting someone in, and ignoring and avoiding them- there's no way to fix things.
